Select one of the connected devices (green background) by clicking on the device icon to select it. Unknown or unconnected devices (red background) may not be selected. Hovering your mouse over the device icon will display a successful connection message or an invalid device message with a possible reason the connection could not be completed.

Clicking on a valid connected device icon will display a message box asking you to confirm that you wish to receive data from the chosen APOS device. Click on Yes to receive the program data from the chosen APOS device. Click on No to cancel the import.

üPlease ensure that proper backups have been made or that you have a valid project file saved (see Save Project) or POS device from which you can restore your program data.

üThis operation will delete all module data currently stored in the application before importing.

üAll changes made will be lost if they have not been exported to a file or to one of your devices.

A highlighted grid showing a row for each of the Maintenance modules is displayed. Highlighting will be removed as each module is imported. The Date Last Received will be updated to reflect the current time and date and the Date Last Modified will be set to null. The progress bar at the bottom of the screen will indicate the overall progress of the import. A message will be displayed when completed, indicating whether the import was successful or not.

Connect

The IP and Port entered in the Hardware Device Maintenance screen will be used to connect to each of your defined APOS devices. Each connected device will display a device type and corresponding Icon on a green background. If a device was not found a message box will allow you to cancel or continue the operation and the Unknown Device icon will be displayed on a red background. Hovering your mouse over the device icon will display a successful connection or an invalid device message with a possible reason the connection could not be completed.

If a device can not be reached, please ensure that your PC or Laptop running PcProg is connected to the same network as the APOS unit. Confirm the IP address of the APOS unit by pressing and holding the "OPTIMA GoPOS" logo on the GoPOS home screen. Ensure the parameters entered for each device in the Hardware Device Maintenance screen are correct. Use the Connect button to validate the IP and Port and that the APOS type, register number and serial number entered match the APOS device being connected to.
