The error correction key (EC) is used to delete the last item entered in the current transaction. Any attempt to error correct previous transaction entries will result in an "Invalid Sequence" message. If an item is linked to another product or to a modifier group, the error correction will only apply to the linked item and not the parent item. An error correct key may be programmed on your keyboard by linking the key to a correction with the "Error Correction" correction type.
